Kirk Soileau, Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Soileau has over 30 years of progressive operational and senior executive leadership in public, not-for-profit, faith based and for-profit hospitals and health systems with proven strengths in facility construction development and program organizational design, turn around strategies and initiatives, new program/service development, fiscal and labor management, physician relations, investor syndication, regulatory and licensure compliance, customer service, marketing and communications management. He holds under graduate diploma and degrees from Charity Hospital School of Nursing, New Orleans, LA and Bachelor of Arts in Health Administration from the University of St. Francis, Joliet, IL. Additionally, Mr. Soileau obtained a Masters of Health Administration with an emphasis in finance and organizational design from Tulane University's School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, New Orleans, LA. Immediately prior to forming GHM, Mr. Soileau was System CEO of Renaissance Healthcare Systems (RHS) headquartered in Houston Texas where he was responsible for leading the three hospital network through an impressive turn-around. Having joined RHS initially as a consultant to assess the hospitals under Chapter 11 reorganization, Mr. Soileau assumed the CEO position and led the organization out of bankruptcy reestablishing revenue from zero to $42MM per month in less than 120 days. The system successfully transferred ownership and passed all Medicare conditions of participation surveys, achieved positive EBITDA 90 days ahead of budget, reduced operating costs by 15%, added new services such as L&D, cardiac and nephrology service lines as well as overseeing physician recruitment and limited physician syndication strategies. Before joining RHS, Ms. Soileau served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Gulf States health Services where he lead the organization from four hospitals to a 15 facility for-profit system in the gulf south region, positioning GSHS as the largest provider of acute in-patient rehabilitation and long term care hospitals in Louisiana and as a top 20 provider in the US by size. Annual net revenues grew from $6MM in 2001 to $90MM by year ending 2008 with 1,200 team members. Mr. Soileau designed the GSHS proto-type hospital used for all new construction within the system. Beyond, GSHS, Mr. Soileau has held positions in teaching and non-profit public and faith based organizations beginning his career as a clinician at Charity Hospital of Louisiana at New Orleans, the largest public hospital in the US at that time with over 4,000 beds. He has served as an educator, various department manager positions, progressive supervisory roles and in the capacities as hospital and health system vice-president, COO and CEO positions. In addition to his operational and managerial experience, Mr. Soileau is an accomplished speaker and has been active member of various community organizations, such as the American Cancer Society Board of Directors, United Way, Rotary International and the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation.

William Thallemer, President, International Development and Academic Medical Partnerships
Dr. Thallemer brings over 22 years of experience in government and student relations to the Global Health Management Executive Team. He holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership, and obtained his Master's degree in Student Personnel from The University of Mississippi. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters Certificate in Six Sigma and Lean Processing from Villanova University. Dr. Thallemer's leadership experience includes 16 institutes and 18 years of administrative work in healthcare, business administration and education. In his most recent appointment, he was the President of a Six Sigma-based process improvement consultancy organization. Chantell Preston, Chief Development Officer and Latin American Consultant

Jeff Kasowski, Healthcare Finance
As the Healthcare Finance expert at Global Health Management, Jeff Kasowski brings over 20 years of hospital-based financial experience. He received a Bachelor of Science in Business and Commerce Accounting from the University of Houston. Mr. Kasowski’s financial background consists of growing, leading, partnering and managing numerous administrative teams and facilities. Salah Shakir, Director of Middle Eastern Business Development
Dr. Shakir brings over 26 years of experience in Information Technology and Management to the Global Health Executive Team. He holds a Doctorate of Business Administration , and obtained a Master in Learning and Technology, and two Bachelors degrees in Computer Science and Advance Technical Studies. He has a track record of increasing performance through dynamic leadership, strategic planning, technology innovation and change management. He is a state examiner for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Program. Dr. Shakir heads up all business development activities in the Middle East and Africa for Global Health Management. As a native of Iraq, Dr. Shakir has spoken extensively to schools and civic organizations providing valuable education on the subject of Middle East relationship development. His lectures have been described as "true eye-opening experiences." In addition, Dr. Shakir has impressive experience in international business where he had worked in Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia as well as his native Iraq. |

Jenny Bell has over three decades of healthcare management and nursing experience. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix. Prior to obtaining her degree, Ms. Bell served in the United States Navy Nurse Corp. Before joining Global Health Management, Ms. Bell held executive, administrative and operational roles within a healthcare provider setting, including Chief Nurse Executive; she oversaw a large team of experienced account managers and implementation specialists focusing on National Quality and Risk Management Initiatives. Edward Downs, Operations Leader
With over 20 years in the healthcare industry, Ed Downs brings a wealth of experience to the Global Health Management Executive Team, having held positions ranging from Assistant Director of Nursing to, most recently, Chief Executive Officer of an acute care hospital. Mr. Downs earned his Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and a Masters of Business Administration from Our Lady of the Lake University. Mr. Downs’ background includes day-to-day accountability for operations and long range plans for a regional hospital dealing in all financial aspects, regulatory compliance and marketing and development of revenue enhancements. He has also been the driving force behind the implementation of cost control measures, new service lines, preventative maintenance programs, and the restructuring of management teams. |

Having over three decades experience in the construction industry, David Lamastus brings a wide variety of expertise to the Global Health Management Executive Team. He received his Associates degree in Architectural Engineering Technology from Delgado Community College, and is working towards his Bachelors degree in Construction Engineering Technology. Mr. Lamastus is a Certified Professional through the American Society of Professional Estimators. Mr. Lamastus’ background encompasses several field capacities, including Vice President of Operations and Senior Project Manager. He has negotiated bidding, AutoCAD coordination of field manpower, and was also responsible for the preparation and execution of subcontracts and purchase orders, and all aspects of the start and completion of various construction projects. |

Alice Brady, Surgical Services and Infection Control
Alice Brady, RN, MSN, AORN, joins GHM as a senior consultant for Surgical Services and Infection Control with over 40 years experience in direct clinical management. Ms. Brady is a graduate of Charity Hospital School of Nursing with a nursing diploma and a BSN and MSN from Louisiana State University Health Science Center. She has spent the majority of her career in peri-operative services overseeing the clinical and administrative aspects of the operating suites, anesthesia, post anesthesia care unit, intensive care, endoscopy, out-patient infusion and chemo-therapy, infection control and quality improvement. Ms. Brady is an expert in operating room management, efficiency and cost containment, aseptic technique and sterilization practices and has been a regional and state director with the American Operating Room Nurses Association.
